Misc.

I always count down the days to the first Randolph Street Market of the year! This weekend's did not disappoint. From goat-shaped scrap metal to vintage goat milk fudge signs, there were tons of unique pieces! Here's a sample of what I encountered... stay tuned to see more!

Since when does one find fleas at a market?

No, seriously. I mean I even looked up the origin, and everything says something along the lines of
"... while the origin is disputed ..." so I'm guessing no one really knows. Anyway, one of my Memorial Day adventures was taking a visit to the Randolph St. Market! Totally fun except for the unpredicted thunderstorm... oh well, what fun is a perfectly-beautiful and cloudless day, right?

Here are a few of my top pickings of the things I saw before the rain came:

Funky, semi-modern/retro hanging lights

(sorry I couldn't seem to rotate this!)

Vintage Dior perfume bottles

Vintage trunk that looks as if it's traveled all over ... possible stackable component for a side table?

I was tempted to get a few for jewelry components

Beautiful chest... the seller said this took him about 3 months to make (finding all of the pieces must have been quite the hunt!)

Look familiar? We found our salvage man again!

Meet Duke! (aka the largest standard poodle I've ever seen)

My new stool obsession - screw tops!

Toodles!
