Composed Cooking in the Kitchen

Having all of your ingredients pre-measured and pre-chopped before you even begin cooking makes the experience feel a bit like being on a cooking show. Although this may require a bit more time, in the long run it saves you unnecessary culinary stress and allows you to actually hone your knife skills in a more studied manner. When the time comes to begin cooking, all you must do is gracefully dump the contents of each bowl at the right time. No need to furiously run from surface to surface, precariously chopping with one hand while blindly stirring with the other.

But, let's be real... how many times does the former actualize into reality... better to just admire others' handiwork....
